Rwanda Golf League Expands, Final Set for Dec 6, 2025

PMC Sensitive Golf League to be held at Kigali Golf Resorts & Villas

The PMC Sensitive Rwanda Golf League, a growing tournament in Rwanda, has undergone revisions to include new categories, notably introducing sections for professional players. The league is rapidly expanding, with the number of competitors expected to exceed 200 for the 2025 season.

The PMC (Piga Mingi Crew) competition originated as an idea among Rwandan golfers who frequently lost. They decided to gather among themselves to create opportunities to win prizes . Due to its success and high participation, the league developed to become the first of its kind in Rwanda and opened its doors to all interested players.

The Sensitive Group is now the league’s main sponsor. Mugwema Wilson, the Director of Sensitive Group, confirmed the revisions. Wilson stated that the PMC Sensitive Golf League has a clear trajectory, emphasizing the desire for the league to gain recognition, increase player numbers, and eventually become the number one tournament in the region.

The addition of a professional category ensures professionals can compete alongside amateurs. This inclusion is expected to elevate the sport, foster the growth of emerging Golf talents, and increase the number of investors in the game.

Eugene Murenjekha, Captain of the Kigali Golf Club, welcomed the new sponsorship, noting that it will help the tournament in various ways. He anticipates the support will cause the sport to improve and increase participation, including among young players.

The PMC Sensitive Rwanda Golf League will be played throughout different periods, with the final match scheduled for December 6, 2025.
