Australia Dominates the Relay Thrill at the 2025 UCI Road World Championships!

Australia takes gold in the ultimate relay battle! The Aussie squad crushed the Team Time Trial Mixed Relay, clocking in at 54:30 over 41.8 km—beating France by 5 seconds and Switzerland by 18. This race was a true team effort, with both men and women pushing together at top speed.

Rwanda finished solidly in 11th place out of 15 teams, with Ethiopia coming in 10th among African nations.

The 2025 UCI Road World Championships will continue with exciting road race events! Over the next four days in Kigali, top cyclists will compete in intense road races, including solo and team efforts.

Starting Thursday, the races will feature team pursuits over 119.3 km at 7 AM, marking the first time Rwanda hosts this event with four talented athletes: Iragena Charlotte, Mwamikazi Jazilla, Ntakirutimana Martha, and Nyirarukundo Claudette.

On Friday, young male riders under 19 and under 23 will race, followed by races for young women under 19 and women on Saturday. The final day, Sunday, will see elite male racers tackle a grueling 267.5 km to crown the champions.
